I was out fishing on the St Croix last week with my buddies Randy and Tom.  We did very well because Turk our guide from Croixsippi Fishing Guide Service www.croixsippi.com  put us right on the fish.  It was a regular potpourri of walleye, small mouth bass, a sunny, a drum, and even a sheep head.  We kept about five walleyes.

Leaving the Projects Behind

While out on the boat enjoying the peace and bending the rod now and then,  I got to thinking about how going fishing had kind of delayed some of my projects at home. This was just a fleeting thought that I quickly pushed away.  I didn’t want to feel guilty about going fishing because I absolutely love to go fishing and it doesn’t hurt to let a few things slide.  As I was enjoying the beautiful scenery of the St Croix River,  I started thinking about all the tortured fisherman in Minnesota that would rather be fishing instead doing their own home improvements.
